New Life Worship
New Life Worship is a staple of our ministry. For the past 16 years this ministry has been under the leadership of Pastor Alex Fleniken. The mission of our worship experience is to be holy spirit lead, and to foster an environment of a kingdom culture not a common culture. We are proud of the spirit of freedom that reins in our worship experience. Our style is described as loud and contemporary.

Youth Ministry

NL Kids
Children's Ministry
Our mission for NL KIDS is simple :: To establish a firm foundation in Christ through teaching The Word, giving children a solid foundation to stand on at every age, in every season of their lives.
NL KIDS is ages 3 through 5th grade. We create age relevant teaching environments using a curriculum that teaches the truths from the Bible. We want our kids to be able to talk to their parents each week about what they have learned, and always be able to recognize and display God’s Love at all times in their lives.
When you arrive at New Life, we all gather together at 10am for worship. Directly after worship kids are dismissed to KIDS CHURCH, where we then break into our small groups of age appropriate classes. Our Littles class is ages 3 -5, while our Bigs class is Kindergarten through 5th grade. Every week is packed full of FUN, WORSHIP, BIBLE TEACHINGS, AND JESUS!
PRAYER
Ministry
Our prayer ministry is led by Gaye Standridge, an intercessor with a legacy at New Life known for believing, powerful prayer. This team leads prayer meetings as needed, and meets every Sunday morning to pray for service. They are also known to be on call for the prayer needs of the church. The power of prayer deepens our dependance on him and sharpness our faith. When we pray we choose to put everything in God’s hand knowing that His hand will show up in every aspect of our lives and in those around us.
ThirdGen (3G) Leadership Class
3G is a leadership class for children ages seven years old to 18, led by Latifah Fleniken.
It is designed to produce responsible and disciplined young adults who will be the future leadership of the church and our country. 3G is taught from a curriculum original to New Life, and is based off five principals: honor, humility, being teachable, the anointing, and integrity.
This class will be an intense 12 weeks in the spring and fall, with enrollment being each fall. 3G is a class known for high standards and expectations. The rules are stern. Attendance and promptness is the determent of success and completion. These student complete intense teachings paired with homework, serve in every area of the church in uniform, and grow in basic communication skills. This class is designed in love and with teaching principals in mind, and has a high success rate in the growth of children’s confidence.
OUTREACH
Ministry
Our outreach team is a group that is steadily growing and led by Tabatha Gault. The need in East Texas for the homeless and hurting is at an all-time high. You can expect our outreach team to host multiple feeding events, including our most popular event which feeds the people of Petty’s Motel Thanksgiving lunch yearly. We also do free garage sales, haircuts, and provide non-perishable food as it is available.
NEW LIFE
CARES
New Life Cares is a ministry that shows love though action. Streamed lined under church staff, this ministry is called upon when members of the church experience unexpected loss or circumstance, births, or hospital stays. It also includes special attention to the elderly and new families to the church. Examples of action is food, gift cards, helping hands, and care baskets.
WOMEN'S
MINISTRY
Led by Patrina Mitchell, every lady is blessed to be a part. Meeting at least monthly, you can expect a dynamic power packed word delivered by guest speakers and Mrs. Patrina. This group creates accountability within its self, and hosts an environment for prayer, fellowship, and growth! You can also, without a doubt expect what Pastor Tammy calls “holy water”….COFFEE, and refreshments!
